He’s had some good wins. Was an underdog as a last second replacement against Khan and sparked him out. Not many people thought he had a real shot against Lucas Matthysse and he got the win.
But after that he was too inactive and after he lost to Thurman he fell off.
I would say he’s a guy that got the most out of his talent and ability.
Not particularly interested in his fight Saturday.

What with Benavidez? Not particularly. Danny was very good in his prime at Welter but always a step short of elite, he's now 34 years old and as a JMW will be stepping into the ring as the smaller, older guy against many opponents. He should beat Jose but he ain't gonna make any real mark on the divison going forward.

Gift draw vs Torres so it's basically 2 147 coming up to 154 to fight to avoid the noise at 147. How about Danny vs over-the-hill Austin Trout. Probably won't work b/c Trout will completely outbox him. So why should I be excited about this? Is this fight to line up a Charlo mando because if it was at 147 it would be a Spence mando so why not Charlo? He puts both of them in a body bag. So why am I supposed to be excited? Maybe he should have stayed at 147. Crawford, Ortiz, or Ennis? Oh no, I have all 3 of them stopping him or darn near.

I think people know the level of Danny Garcia.

I have saw nobody claim that he is super elite. But for the most part in his career, he has been a World Class fighter 'And good Champion, when he was Champion'.

It just seems like everyone thinks, every fighter is overrated these days.

The only overrated fighters I think are Tyson Fury, Canelo Alvarez. Not in the sense that they are bad fighters 'Because they are top fighters'. But in the sense that people over exaggerate their abilities and make things up.

I have not really seen Danny Garcia get this treatment.
