Porter was doing a whole lot of nothing throughout that fight. He did a lot of mauling and hugging. Bud was tagging him all night with left and right hooks, straight rights and lefts, and eventually TKO him.

GOAT Khan basically passed the torch to Crawford that night. He could’ve defeated Crawford if he wanted to, but he chose to let him win via controversy.

Jake Paul doesn't really have a 'gimmick'. He came in with significant social media support plus perfect timing with Triller showing up, and he bootstrapped early fights with his own money.

A gimmick is like Jermall Charlo ranting about lions, or Eubank Jr. always using Still D.R.E. as a walkout song, or Anthony Joshua always wearing a different color pair of Beats by Dre headphones around his neck at pressers, or Blair The Flair cutting promos in the middle of his interviews with a shirt off, or Wilder constantly repeating catchphrases, McGregor always walking around like he owns the place, etc. Shannon Briggs "LET'S GO CHAMP!" and running up on peeps like Clubber Lang - that was a gimmick.

Something you always do, so you stand out and the fans remember it and you. It's smart marketing and sorely missing in the business.

Canelo learned he needed one later in the game, so he started cussing in broken English, which ALWAYS gets over with American fans.
