Who the hell wants to see this shit again? If Floyd wants to come out of retirement he should fight Pacquiao again over McGregor. I don't want to see that either but it would be better than McGregor.Comment

yes, but it's because they are being matched up with a new opponent each time... floyd vs mcgregor 2 has no meaning to it. at least, when the first fight happened, it was because conor just ran thru the UFC division so conor was looking like a beast! then we saw what happened when he fought floyd so after seeing that and seeing how conor has been taking L's in the ufc lately, why would anyone wanna watch part 2? when the first fight happened, there were a lot of mma guys that was giving conor a chance to win but we saw what happened and there is no way conor will beat floyd in a rematch.

That was once the case, but their marketing isn't there anymore mainly because they don't need it. They don't need it because they're a known brand. Their ppvb's do outsell boxing ppv buys, but they have to and if you look at recent metrics it's because they were first to market coming out of covid shutdowns so there is a big * there. At the end of the day UFC lifesblood is ppvb's, boxing doesn't NEED ppvb's to survive, big difference. And please don't bring up the TV deals, Dana has said on multiple occassions they would be dead without ppvb's.
Annual gross as a sport, not sure that figure is accurate because you have to not just compare ppvb's, but fighter purses and show purses. I think if the figures were done objectively, boxing revenue would shit on mma.
Floyd still looked like doodoo.Comment

this is dumb, i could see them both wanting the money but some things that dont make sense:
1. floyd already announced some other ****** exhibition against some japanese guy
2. connor is still under contract with UFC, not sure dana white will allow it. Dana probably wants to make a conor vs masvidol
3. $250 million available for guarantees seems absurdly high for the current marketComment
