Different take on this. I've seen Teo fight several times. I've never been impressed. He's Andy Ruiz or HWs. Danny Jacobs of MWs. A guy who's good, but is not great. I still do not know why Lomachenko gave away first 7 rounds to Teo. Why he threw 5 punches a round. Maybe it was an injury, maybe it was too much respect for power, maybe he was fantasizing about his wife, I have no clue. Lomachenko that fought Teo in the first 7 rounds was a completely different fighter than the one who fought him in the last 5.

You take away the Lomachenko "win", and Teofimo hasn't done anything. He's that Top 5, top 10 guy. Good power, good skillset. Not elite at anything. Then he wins the title, starts listening to his delusional father, and completely falls apart. I wouldn't be surprised if Teo gets UDd by a borderline guy next.

The sting of that knock down in the 1st rd and the occasional overright hand of kambosos landing on Teo's face proved to painful for Teo.

Lmao cope harder loserchenko nutt huggger. Teo won because he was better than loma was, and made him a scared lil ***** w his power. Then, in the last round, when loma tried his hardest to win the round, teo stepped up again and took his manhood, and the round. Loserchenko should go back to fighting three round fights w headgear on, cause he is only a good pro, not a great one!

Taylor is a better boxer, puncher, fought better opponent's, and has as sturdy a chin as Kambosos.
All those factor's being true, would have produced a worse outcome for Teofimo, than the beat down he received at the hands of Kamboso.
Now Teofimo can look forward to the ominous challenge of fighting Subriel Matias, a true power punching dynamo.
One could only hope, but I wouldn't hold my breath, especially while he's with Arum!

I disagree with you regarding Taylor! I think Teofimo is just as good, if not better than Prograis, and Prograis gave Taylor big problems! Prograis deserved a rematch just like Catterall. If Teo could beat Lomachenko, he could beat Taylor too! I expect Teo to be back in form @ 140!

Pedraza vs. Commey! Who you got?

I've got Pedraza, in a contested fight between the two, but wouldn't be surprised if Pedraza wins by stoppage, or vice versa.
Two very good fighters, both are former champion's, the difference being Commey is fighting at 140 for the first time.
Where as this'll be Pedraza's 6th fight in the 140 pound weight division, and he's fighting much better at this weight.

As for Teofimo Lopez Jr. one of us will be proven right, and the other one will be proven wrong in the near future.
I lost all respect for Jr., due to the juvenile delinquent way that he carries himself in , and out of the ring.
That said he tried to win his fight against Kambosos by instilling fear in him, with his big mouth, and thug antic's.
He who was supposed to take over the sport, got dropped, his face busted up, and then committed the cardinal sin in boxing by stating "I don't want a rematch".
What true fighting champion doesn't want to win back his title belts, where's his fighting pride, and his true grit?
It shows a lack of championship heart/ fighting spirit, all that after acting like such a tough guy in the lead up to, and during the fight.
If Teofimo can beat the likes of Prograis, Ramirez, Taylor, Matias, Zepeda, or Pedraza, then he'll have some bragging rights, but until then, he hasn't done anything in the 140 pound division weight class.

I feel you! He lost a lot of cool points with me too! However, I hope he can redeem himself! The kid only turns 25 on Saturday! I was an ******* too, at 25, and I wasn't even a millionaire! So I still have hope for him! I would like to see him get a KO in his tune-up, and then fight Barboza Jr.!

By the way, I like Xander Zayas! He seems like a humble young man! Will he become a contender in 2023?

Loma had an injured shoulder, and it was bothering him enough that he was getting injections throughout camp (which he supposedly reported to VADA). Loma knew he was injured and he fought anyway. The injury doesn't excuse his loss, but it helps us better understand his performance and why he craves a rematch with Teofimo. Teofimo disregarded him, but then he found himself in Loma's shoes against Kambosos: a young hungry trash-talking opponent who manipulated him into acting against his own interests. Teo letting Thor punch him in the chest was also a ****** move, as it may have had something to do with his supposed illness/injury.

The universe works in mysterious ways. We'll see how good Teo is at 140, if he faces the strongest that the division has to offer.

I believe that Xander Zayas will definitely become a serious contender in late 2023, and a champion by late 2024.
Unless of course there are some *****'s in his Armor, that aren't evident as of yet, such as a weak chin.
Other than that look for thew kid to gain some more muscle, and probably fight for a title in the middle weight division.
Xander still has another growth spurt, he just might level out at 6 ft, and 160 pounds by 2024, and winding up at 168 by 2025.

A virtual unknown like Kambosos, busted Teofimo's face so bad that he's lucky Kambosos doesn't have any real power.
Otherwise he might have stopped Teofimo altogether when they fought, as it was he dropped Teo, and busted him up pretty good.
He lost his titles, his wife, some fans, probably some friends, some promoters are leery about working with him, because he had postponed the Kambosos fight so many times.
Somethings just not right about this guy, and his old man, whatever it is I don't think that he's going to be able to overcome it.

All those delays with Triller really killed Teos momentum and helped Kambosos.

I don't buy this as the reason. If his shoulder was bothering him, his aggressiveness and output would have either stayed stable, or maybe he would have started quickly in hopes of finishing and not being in pain. Loma started slower than a snail. Even the ever unreliable compubox can't help but show how ridiculous the disparity is. It's like he woke up in the 7th. I'd love to find out the truth one day.
