this is coming from a guy who dislikes mayweather and was/is clearly a supporter and fan of juan manuel marquez. as much as i might dislike floyd for his ducking, deceiving and shady ways, i have to admit pacquiao would be not match for him. at all.

mayweather is just too strong, too fast and too intelligent. the guy really has it all. however, i'm glad they're not fighting cause i'd be a waste of a fight. now, cotto-mayweather would be the fight of the century. cotto is tough and strong proven welterweight. if anyone has a chance of damaging or breaking down mayweather, it's cotto.

i hate mayweather more than you could imagine, specially after last night and much more after the interview. however, even though he was fighting an inferior opponent and he cherrypicked - you can't deny the skils he posseses. he could've been fighting his momma, thing is his moves are fast and his technique is flawless. no boxer has the technique he has... think about it.

pacquiao has not shown or proven he could take on floyd... his fights at welter have been against drained boxers.. and one of them who was well past his prime. at this point i wouldn't be interested in a pacquiao/mayweather match at all... neither a shane mosley fight. if the guy was in his prime then great.. but he's getting old, and his skills are not as sharp as they once were. so if floyd wins he'll brag about how people asked for the fight, he won and he doesn't have anything else to prove. avoiding the younger fighters who're currently at their prime.

cotto-mayweather could very well be one of the best most entertaining memorable fights of our generation.
