Even at 168 I don't think so, Bivol has his number, though it shouldn't diminish what Canelo has done just because of a loss. Canelo's defensive skills seem to have deteriorated significantly during the last three years.

If miraculously Canelo beat Bivol, I would say that Bivol chose not to use the skills he obviously has and decided to try a slugfest with Canelo. HIGHLY unlikely.

Maybe you can start by asking Floyd the same questions seeing that he hates on Canelo every chance he gets and whine about who he fights and what he does. Make that one make sense.

he was clearly off his game and even leading up to the fight the focus was there the desire was visibly missing… i can’t put my finger on what exactly it wa so i’m sure the people in his circle know, but it’s unprofessional and disappointing to his team and disrespectful to the sport to cash those millions and not be at your absolute best! Don’t want to take anything away from bivol he did his thing and much much respect and props to him and his team he deserved the win that night! But like tony said, if canelo comes 100 in the rematch, he will beat bivol… easily

canelo was clearly unprepared and way overconfident before the fight he along with all these so called experts said he would breeze through bivol. A well prepared not overconfident canelo beats bivol but has to find that hunger again.

169 lber, motivated, boxer Canelo gives hell to Bivol with good gameplan. Even Bivol's himself said that Canelo threw only unnecessary power punches and gassed out early. Bivol expected much better fight from Canelo.

I think your way off base. Bivol easily beat Canelo by having a solid defense and an unbelievable control of distance. The way to beat that is with reach or fast footwork. Canelo has neither. Unless Bivols skill level slips really, really sharply, Canelo will never beat Bivol. Ever……..

Exactly...without being a robbery that is the worst attempt at one I have ever seen. Completely dominated to the point that he almost cried and the balls to claim a win. This has been going on so long for this goofball that he actually believes in it. Bivol was laughing at him after the fight and rightfully so.
