Nice to see all of Floyd mignions out already...right on brand and right in line with their hero. Anything to detract from or pile on Canelo. These are the same bunch that were saying Bivol was a cherry pick, a basic and stiff robotic fighter and Canelo should be fighting Charlo instead while we try to convince them otherwise. Now they are Bivol fans all of a sudden. Clearly Canelo couldn't get on the gameplan which Bivol has a lot to do with it but Canelo is a great adjuster as evidenced by his rematch with GGG and I think what Bellew is implying is that if Canelo makes the correct adjustment, he will win the rematch but of course the mignions take everything literally. I believe he can with the right adjustment too whatever that adjustment is, for one stop loading up and improve his stamina but Bivol remains a difficult fight regardless. Canelo is viewed as a great, and to say he's not is just hating, who should be able to rise and figure it out.Comment

I think your way off base. Bivol easily beat Canelo by having a solid defense and an unbelievable control of distance. The way to beat that is with reach or fast footwork. Canelo has neither. Unless Bivols skill level slips really, really sharply, Canelo will never beat Bivol. Ever……..Comment

I agree that the level of competition changed and that’s why I predicted Bivol would beat Canelo. This version of Bivol at 75 is def the best fighter Canelo has fought since Floyd. However, I was very impressed by Canelo. The way he can back these bigger guys up at will, make them miss with his waist and head movement is pure poetry. Combine that with that elite chin and he is a problem for even bigger punchers then himself… but, his biggest weakness is his stamina. I don’t know how the hell Canelo can either improve that stamina in the rematch to be more active and keep Bivol from scoring on him… or he will have to up his power to make Bivol think twice about throwing those 5-6-7 punch combos on Canelo which won him the first fight… one of those two things must happen for Canelo to have a shot to win but if he can do both… that is improve on his stamina, by being more active and throwing more punches himself, AND up his power… there is no way in hell any version of Bivol can beat a focused and engaged Canelo. He wasn’t the same for this fight he tought he would blow by Bivol like he has been doing to all the other boxers he’s faced… Bivol never talked no sh.it… look at what happened to bjs and Caleb for running their mouths and watch how he phucks ggg up in the trilogy… I’ll let you know if Canelo will get up for the Bivol rematch just by looking at his demeanor for the build up.. that will tell me who will win… I think Bivol can’t really do much better and I think Canelo can do a lot better and for that reason I highly suspect Canelo will get up for the rematch and will lay the wood on Bivol… he will snatch that body up trust meComment

Man I can’t wait for the rematch, this is another perfect example of people sh.itting on Canelo and then if Canelo beats Bivol what will all you guys say then? Cmon be honest… will you guys finally give the man his props??? I doubt it. You guys never will, your hatred for that man supersedes any accomplishment or accolade he can ever make come to fruition. But… this wouldn’t be the first time he proves haters wrong and I’m like 99.9 percent sure that it won’t be the last either. Eventually you all will have to choke on your hating words for the legend… you are all witnessing greatness and don’t know it yet… hard to fathom that you guys call yourselves boxing fans or purists but can’t seem to be Able to recognize one of the goats of this era… matter fact… he is the goat of this era this era is the Canelo era!Comment

Maybe you can start by asking Floyd the same questions seeing that he hates on Canelo every chance he gets and whine about who he fights and what he does. Make that one make sense.Comment

I won't call that beat the brakes off..he outpointed him is a more fair assessment. Beats the breaks off is what Pacquaio did to Margarito, what same Floyd did to Arturo Gatti, what Cotto did to Malinaggi.Comment
