Comments Thread For: Gilberto Ramirez: After I Beat Bivol, Canelo Will Have No Choice But To Fight Me!

Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez (44-0, 30 KO's) has vowed to eliminate the possibility of a rematch between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KO's) and Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KO's).

Nobody at LHW should hold their breath for Canelo to go back up. His team must see he doesn't have the build for it and his power is overrated at 168 let alone 175. He would provide Beterbiev about the same worry as a wet fart.

If zurdo beats Bivol before canelo has a chance to run that back.. I can almost guarantee that Canelo will still eventually fight dimitry again..: only thing I can see a Bivol defeat to zurdo before Canelo gets a rematch is the order in which Canelo gives out his lottery tickets..: zurdo May Just jump the line, and be first or be before Bivol. That’s all that may change, then again it may not change a damn thing

There is no more lottery tickets at 175.
BIvol cashed the last one issued by Team Canelo.
If his team is as smart as they believe they are,
they'll allow Canelo to reign long & break records @ 168.

Canelo strikes me as a bit of a hard-headed, stubborn kind of guy and might not accept what his team advise.

Alvarez goes back up to 175 to face Bivol and that is it.

If this guy wants to face Alvarez, he should do it at 168 pounds.

Something tells me Zurdo is going to be spinning in circles. He's way too slow for Bivol. After he beat Canelo at the after party everyone was taking shots and celebrating and Bivol was sipping water doing interviews. He's a different animal.

This guy is like the Dillian whyte of 175. He keeps talking like he belongs with the real players in the division and unfortunately someone is going to have to waste a fight and prove to him that he’s not before making the fights that really matter.
