Maybe he goes on a brief Donaire run.

Joseph Agbeko is due a comeback, maybe they run that back without Russell Mora.

The master of the groin punch is back. Still hoping to make some Tank money.

Feeling great in the gym doesn't translate into the ring after a long layoff and age. He looks like he has kept in shape so he might have some limited success. At his weight class they don't last that long.

              A.Mares - Hispanic(check) - Pbc fighter(check) - Below average power(check) - No legit threat(check) = perfect Tank Davis opponent.

Wouldn't put it past them that's for sure.

It's pretty obvious that Mares/Davis would be explored. They were supposed to fight until Mares got injured in camp (Hugo Ruiz replaced him). If Mares does return, they'll give him a tune-up to see how he looks. Or maybe they'll feed him to Pitbull Cruz.

Yea for sure but Mares IS returning against Flores as co-main on the Ruiz vs Ortiz card. The wheels are already in motion.
