I wanted marquez to win this fight. I, however, know boxing and knew marquez had a small chance. I appreciate mayweathers skills. He is the best defensive fighter and boxer in the game. Period! Don't assume I am a "nuthugger" as you say. I said Marquez STYLE is better than most of the current ww. He had a chance to do what Pacquiao is doing and fight within the ww division.Amazing how some people on here were questioning whether Floyd would even win,and how hard Marquez would be as a test.The difference is Manny will beat Cotto,and Mayweather beat Marquez (I believe this comes down to styles-more than a weight issue-he went too far trying to take on the best in the division).The best ww you have up there i would say,is Paul Williams-now I am not saying Marquez beats him (due to the massive height difference-in fact,we will see if Paul Williams is actually good enough to be a middleweight),but Marquez style flourishes against people who are in front of him and trade lots of punches (since he is a brilliant counter puncher).In other words,Yes, I believe Floyd's style beat him (if it was a KO,I may tend to think weight would play a role as well), but at the same time,its hard to gauge where JMM would rank at this class-I am merely comparing styles.
