Why would the fight to make be the Undisputed 135lb champion fighting the 4th best LW at 140?

    That doesn’t seem logical.

Haney goes to 140 its to fight the Taylor/Catterall 2 winner or a name he can beat to set hp a fight with the Teo/Taylor winner.

Ryan isn’t getting rewarded for avoiding Haney at 135.

None of those guys are coming to PBC, so what does Tank do? How does he get to Floyd's level?
He may never because Floyd’s situation was unique.

That said, The same way Floyd did- keep winning and drawing fans. Then form Tank promotions so you can work with the top earners to make big fights.

I think he would fight the winner of Ramirez vs. Zepeda first, then look for Teo or Taylor! That's only if Bob and Oscar can't make Haney vs. Garcia! Garcia puts azzes in seats IN THE USA! Taylor and Catterall do the same in the UK only!

Whoever was a "somebody" Floyd fought and beat! Gatti, Zab, Oscar, Hatton, Shane, Cotto, Canelo, and Pacquiao! Tank is 27, and it's not like Haney, Teofimo, Lomachenko, Garcia, don't exist! There might people we didn't see Floyd fight, but damn, not ALL OF THEM!

Why not do it half way? It’s not like any of them have one of the real titles at 135 or 140 anyway. Both have competed in both weight classes.

Just do a catch weight in the middle and call it a day

I’m not generally a fan of catch weight but if there is no title on the line and they’re both arguing about which weight when they have both been in both divisions anyway, I think these are the times when a catch weight can be reasonable

Tank should get whatever he wants in negotiations. These 2 are not equals. If Ryan doesn't accept; Tank is ppv with anybody at 135. Ryan isn't ppv at all, and can't contend with elite at 140. Gary Antuanne destroys him right now

Both Mayweather and De La Hoya trying too hard to be a genius of a businessman with this fight. Both promoters are annoying, great fighters but they need to stop stealing the spotlight.
Both have also said they don't care about titles, so Davis cannot use that as an excuse to stage the fight at 135 for his minor title. I'm sure Floyd is saying "135 only" just to be a contrarian. Neither side wants to give an inch to the other, which is probably why this fight won't happen.

He’s more popular than anyone else Tank can fight so he has some leverage. And everyone knows I can’t stand Ryan. But he’s popular and he has a network that’s invested in him. He’s worth more than Haney and Loma combined.

Maybe Davis should impose rehydration clauses and overweight penalties, like Canelo. People should stay consistent and spare the fans the fake outrage. If it doesn't happen, who cares? Ryan hasn't done ANYTHING whatsoever in boxing.

Tank who went to 140 to collect a fake belt off some bum is now unwilling to do the same vs a top 5 ranked fighter. No surprise here.
