Hard to believe that a guy that hardly fights should be boxing's #1 P4P fighter .... and who he fought was for the most part, not noteworthy either.

Fighting a Cotto that we all thought should have been an easy fight but Cotto did better than most expected.

SUCKER PUNCHING his way towards a win with Ortiz who only had 1 fight at WW.

Marquez who just moved up to 135 was asked to move up to 147 ....

Floyd only fought 5 or 6 times in 5 years and all of his fights had a question mark on them ......

whether its lack of focus or age Pac slipped when he was so close to being the greatest of his eraits now a title that Floyd can only lose.... he doesnt need to win it but its whether he can now cement it or slip up
Pacs already the best fighter of this era. He fought hard competion production line styly, one after the other, Arum worked pac hard. Unbeaten for 7 years or so as well. Not taking it easy like Floyd does to really stretch his run out, misleading people.

floyd hasnt done anything remotely close to Pac. BH has done more than floyd has.

Shane mosley (floyd got him too..)...margarito (after a brutal KO)..clottey (after a loss...)...(an OLD Marquez hes not supposed to beat...twice)...hardly the stuff of legends..unless you have the media train/Arum calling it...anyway.. Marquez 4 times..most people think he lost all 4..lost to an older morales rematched him after a loss, official (controversial of course) loss to Bradley. Beat Hatton (as did floyd), Oscar(lol), Cotto (so have a few) . Etc. his best win is Barrera. No shame...but ehh...

Not trying to defend Floyd because hes just as bad.. But Pacs (or Arums should i say?) have been outright blatant. Pac never beat the best of his era, and apparently Marquez was better at each weight class so that point is moot...

Pac has done what floyd has but just more quantity of it. floyd has done a little of what pac has, and a lot less of it.

Pac is the best fighter of this era. Evander holyfield is greater than floyd, and has for a while acknowledged Pac is above himself in greatness, so has RJJ.

Because Roy getting ktfo by Tarver hasn't affected his ATG status at all

There was serious discussion about Roy being GOAT up to that point.

Any fighter fighting once a year against not the best opposition out there shouldnt feature in the equation for P4P. How can you gauge how good a fighter is when he hardly ever fights?

Donaire ahead of Floyd? Now that's laughable.

losses really dont affect a fighters legacy, just look at duran
but yeah most of jones jr, legacy was that he looked invincible his best wins are hopkins and toney but after that he just kept fighting bums, when he stepped up a little he started getting koed, thats what hurts him
jones jr makes mayweather look like carl froch in terms of opposition

If you are referring to the post Hatton 'comeback', then no.
