Oh so now they are "applying pressure'" years later. WBA and Haymon just got it like that. Wonder how much money these scumbags get per year for keeping that belt on this joke, and giving Porky all those fake belts from Uncle Haymon. This goes back years, to when this coward was scared of Rigo. You gotta be a fool to not see the corruption between the 2.

      vargas - santa cruz
      warrington - wood
      navarrete - mauricio lara

these fights make sense and should be announced/fought already but nooooo. everybody just wastes time. the worst thing in boxing now is inactivity. weak mandatories, tune-ups, lower purses and more would be less of an issue if fighters fought more often.

Either way one of them is dropping a belt I reckon. LSC will probably ask for an exemption from the WBA for a unification with Vargas. If it’s granted Wood vacates, if it’s rejected Santa Cruz will vacate. That’s how I see it anyway.
LSC did ask for an exemption but I get your point. I think LSC vacates and fights for the WBC. Wood unifies with Warrington if Warrington doesn't vacate. If he does they'll just fight for the WBA. The fights align with the promoters this time.

Lets be honest, Wood's a tune-up for King Santa. I would advise him to take that and then head into a mega showdown with Vargas at the end of the year.

at this stage in Santa Cruz Career, he shouldn't be force to fight Leigh Wood, he should be in big fights like vs Vargas so if he Drops I totally understand OR he can just take care of Wood while Vargas and Magsayo run it back

lets see what they do with Zurdo and Bivol
He's had 3 years to unify with the WBC. Even back when it was GRJ who was champion. So it's time to defend or drop the belt. He can't hold the division up anymore

The article has just said his application has been refused. He's got a choice. Fight Wood. Or drop the belt and challenge Vargas for the WBC.

I wish for a double drop of these trinkets from Leo and Gervonta.
I'm a bit confused as to what your thinking is here, BIG. On the one hand you want to know about Haney vs Davis being ordered, which will give him a shot at undisputed and a big fight opponent. But in contrast to that your saying you hope he drops his trinket, which is fine, but then wouldn't get that shot or that big opponent in Haney, that his resume badly needs. So what's your preference here, is my question?

Sorry for the confusion, Rod. I thought I said I wanted it dropped there.

I hate all the belts equally and with a great passion. They are corrupt and ******. That's my opinion as a boxing fan.

What I meant was, if they order it, I'd love to see him drop it, preferably in the garbage where it belongs, or run it through a shredder. I want him to disrespect them. Haney is a cool dude and I wish him well, so I don't mind seeing him get paid well against Davis.

Haney wouldn't fight him without the belts.
