Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia Drops Javier Fortuna Three Times, Knocks Him Out in Sixth

Davis imposes his will on his opponents. He's not there to see what you want. He's there to separate you from your senses in as less energy as possible. He has never had an opponent energy. He's the Champ. You are the opponent. Completely different game. Ryan is at least two levels below Gervonta. Ryan will more likely fall into depression next.
Tanks getting older and breaking down, hurting his hands. Tank was arguably losing to Rolly before he got a little tired an over anxious. I like Garcia to not make those same mistakes. Tank waits, and waits, and barely throws any punches for long stretches. Everyone is not going to engage on Tanks terms when they can just pot shot and run the clock out on him, Particularly someone tall like Garcia that possesses enough pop to keep Tank honest. There's a reason why Floyd doesn't want to put Tank in with certain guys, pretty much anyone with good skills and cerebral like Loma, Haney, Stevenson and probably not Garcia either after tonight lolLast edited by Realizniguhnit; 07-17-2022, 12:27 AM.Comment

He's probably back to his depression right now. Nobody was impressed tonight.Comment

Mix hate and crack and Davis becomes your champ and Ryan sucks, won every min of that fight, Poor Haney cant get no respect with all the belts but Stank avoids them all is the champ? You high AFComment

That's your opinion but many feel that way about Davis. He gets outboxed by journeymen then lands a hail Mary. Ryan unlike Davis has a good fast jab and a sneaky left hook to the body he's levels above Tank who's peaked already he losses rds then gets a lucky stoppage.Comment

Ryan ain't nothing. He better forget about his dream fight or maybe work for it? Fight and beat Cruz or Rolly first?
And yeah, those big boys at 140, would run a line on him.
That's it for Ryan.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 07-17-2022, 12:51 AM.Comment

Davis is cool but let's be real here, he's a 5'5 guy who's been put in with smaller and over-matched opponents, who's his best win? Leo Santa Cruz? Come on man, that's not levels above Ryan Garcia, and to be honest I don't care much for the kid he can be a bit delusional himself at times but still, I know what I'm looking at in the ring talent wise, regardless of how I feel about his personality. He's good, and improving.

Not sure if that’s Goosen’s doing or not but Garcia looked like a mature fighter ready for the upper echelon imo
Not his biggest fan but gotta give him props
For what I saw tonight , I would say he gives Tank a real challenge and most likely wins in similar fashion as this eveningComment

I like how all the Mexican fans think Garcia has a chance against Tank, seriously Garcia will get knocked out cold if he takes that fight.

Goosen made Ryan tuck his chin, use his jab and was more poised which allowed him to be more precise and cover more his defensive flaws as a fighter. He looked like he could fight the next 6 rounds without tiring so I think him switching coaches might have been a good idea.
Too bad he still lacks head movement though, I mean whenever he thought Fortuna was too close, he either clinched or ducked to avoid getting hit.Comment
