buatsi is a legitimate threat. people forget that bivol struggled with the guy buatsi did last fight, 115-114, 115-113 were two of the cards

      buatsi is better than zurdo....

Bivol nearly always "struggles". That is an old news. he is not strong light heavy and all strong guys here give him some problems, but at the end of the they, he wins.

Zurdos been waiting for his shot against Bivol for 2 years, Eddie harness ****ting his pants because he knows Ramirez will take that belt away then the world will be calling for Canelo vs Zurdo. Canelo already said he won't fight another Mexican, Zurdo will beat the brakes off of Buatsi

bivol is barely beyond that level then either, he only beat richards by 1 round on the cards

Zurdo deserves the big title shot more than Buatsi. And he's a better fighter, even though has flown under the radar for a long time.

Zurdo is a former World Champion with multiple defences. Buatsi’s best accomplishment thus far is winning a British title.

Whether he is or not is irrelevant to the point. Ramirez is mandatory so he may as well get him out the way and then go straight into a massive undisputed fight with Beterbiev or massive payday vs Canelo. If he fights Buatsi first, he’ll still have to face to Zurdo next so the Buatsi fight is essentially just a waste of time.

Are we now discarding all his other wins or an off night performance?

44-0 is better than 16-0. There is no qualitative difference. It's not like Buatsi fought 16 monsters. Eddy likes to flex, cut in line. I think Eddy wants to be rid of Buatsi. Cash out, earn your keep, sink or swim time. Ramirez? He has plenty of experience, that's worth something.
