Are there styles of boxing that are geographically based? Like Europeans being largely out boxers, Mexicans being swarmers, etc.???? Would like some opinions on this. In MMA jiu-jitsu jitsu style fighters are often times Brazilian, Wrestlers often times American, and Sambo being the primary style of Russian fighters. Does boxing have something like this, and if so, how?

Mexicans have that calculated but aggressive come forward fighters, most with excellent body attacks. Hard chins aswell.
Afro American have good speed and are very good movers with good punch placement.
European fighters have largely been good boxers with an upright stance and good skill.
Asians tend to be a bit more like Mexicans for the most part. Very aggressive with nice body attacks. -
Look at you referencing out-boxers and swarmers like some old world academic! Are there styles of boxing that are geographically based? I remember seeing fighters from Ghana throw a jab a certain way and the UK guys all look the same because they have all the same shitty trainers. When Jones was big you saw a lot of UK stiffs try and do Jones moves.
Mexicans don't always brawl, you get a lot of boxers and boxer-punchers so it's a mix.
To be honest, it's really a matter of the gym and top trainers in that country.
