You are right, but Americans are strange fighters. They often prefer to stay on American soil and fight for less money.

If Thurman is gonna continue fighting on PPV, he might as well go where he'll make the most guaranteed money. This match-up won't happen because he'll be "advised" not to. If he's gonna take a risk against a younger fighter, he'll be matched against Staninois/Ennis instead. Benn could agree to come to the U.S. for the fight, and it still wouldn't happen because PBC would perceive that match-up as doing Matchroom a favor.

I don't think there's any amount of money that Hearn can throw at Thurman. He's tried this with other PBC-affliated fighters and it never works.

And many American fighters are their own promoters and are taking more money home than their overseas counterparts….since this topic has become about money and promoters. I recall seeing a video several years ago of Hearn and Charlo talking over the internet and Hearn being shocked at the size of Charlo’s home and how stacked his property appeared to be. It appears Charlo has gotten very wealthy without matchroom.

Unbelievable that fans are arguing about which platform should cover the fight. I don't remember watching a fight caring about which channel or network it is on.

To me if PBC wants the fight, then they should make the offer to Benn. But it appears, it's only Hearn/DAZN that wants the fight. So this is all up to Thurman, nobody else.

Ill add this, where was that sort of money and matchup offering for those middleweights who are actually promoted by Hearn or dazn fighters? Why was the only money fight offered to a non dazn fighter to fight BooBoo?
facts are facts. Jermell made less as a A side for his undisputed fight than Haney made as a B side for his undisputed fight at a smaller weight. So who exactly is Al overpaying?

Mikey garcia made 7 million guaranteed for a non title fight against Jessie vargas and he left al haymon to do it. That's smart business for mikey. Use your googles and you can see what pbc guys guarantees are and they are not even half of 7 million.

As far As your question goes. Munguia ducked andrade. This is public knowledge. Saunders failed a drug test the week of the fight with Andrade. This is public knowledge. And we all know ggg dont fight threats unless the last name is canelo. Plus 7 million isn't a career high payday for ggg. It would have been for jermall tho.

The point is, if you are a promotional free agent which Thurman is. You take the highest offer. Which in this case would be conor benn on dazn. If Eddie wants to overpay. Then let him

That's my point. And Eddie will pay extra to get Thurman to come over. Thurman better get that bag

I don't know what Thurman's excuse is, but he can't hide behind PBC or Haymon's skirt. PBC fighters don't have restrictions in crossing the street. Many of them already admitted they can fight anywhere they want to.

Exactly. I thought the point of being a free agent is to get the biggest purse from whoever is offering.

Canelo showed the blueprint. Make them bid on you. He did 4 fights with dazn. Then went to showtime for 40 million against plant and then went back to dazn. And after this dazn deal. He gonna make everybody bid again. That's called leverage.

Tank could have done the same thing. But he's to ****** to see it

I don't know the relevance of this post. All it really says is Jermall wanted no part of Andrade. How can that be anything other than negative for Charlo? It's as if there's absolutely nothing to gain for Charlo. What is he doing in this sport anyway? I thought he wants to collect belts just like his twin. I don't even know why some fans are justifying this.
