Comments Thread For: Rey Vargas: I Would Have Much More To Lose Than To Gain By Fighting Figueroa

Can't knock Vargas for being a businessman, but Figueroa is his mandatory after knocking out Castro if I'm correct. Sounds like he isn't fully confident he gets by Figueroa. LSC is highly overrated as a multi-division titlist, but money talks and he brings in more money. We'll see how this all plays out in future time.Comment

Mexicans don't duck Brits, hey? Zurdo and Benavidez both ducked chances to unify with Callum Smith. Canelo ducked Smith and Saunders until they had bad performances. All of a sudden, he now wants to fight them. Obviously making sure Callum is at his worst in giving him 3 weeks to train.
Barrera, Morales and Marquez ducked Naz for years. Barrera only went after the fight when he saw the Sanchez fight. Hell, Marquez was mandatory to Naz for years but had to be stripped of the position due to him refusing to take the fight.
Marquez ducked Khan at 140. He was offered the fight but turned it down. Khan wasn't shot so it wasn't what Marquez usually goes for.
The only bums here however are Mexicans with them losing all over the place when at their best. Not when they're at their worst like some of our fighters. If your lot were at their worst, they'd lose every single fight they were in.Comment

Who is talking about the nationality of the fighter he's ducking? What does that have to do with it? Nothing. He's ducking the fight, that's all that matters.

Lol at the Bum Naseem lies that you are still trying to push. A career UK level bum basher that go destroyed the second he faced someone real.
Khan?! HAHAHAHAHA The only fighter a bigger joke throughout the world than Naseem is Amir Khan himself.Comment

This part is pure gold. The UK's greatest ever fighter, Joe Calzaghe, "legend" status is 100% dependent only him beating 2 shot fighters.Comment

1) Calzaghe isn't our greatest fighter. 2) What has Calzaghe got to do with any of this? Nothing, but you threw the strawman in there anyway. Haha. 3) Chavez is your greatest fighter and he never beat any great fighters and had a habit of quitting. 4) Hopkins wasn't shot or even close to being. Calzaghe was past his best more than he was. Age doesn't even come into it. Hopkins after the Calzaghe loss has a great resume. That tells you everything you need to know.Comment

That bum Callum Smith had no intention of ever fighting Zurdo or Benavidez.....he just waited around for the Canelo payday.....and looked ****** in the process, unwilling to actually fight.

Benavidez and his team were the ones who turned it down. They said they weren't ready for those kind of fights. Again, this information is easy to come by if you search for it.
Sorry, but Canelo wasn't actually fighting properly at SM at that time. So you fail hard. But give me the time and date Callum ducked others? You can't, but let me see you struggle to and give me a laugh anyway.
The best Featherweight in the world who beat everyone around and cleaned out the division, was a domestic level fighter? Haha. Paul Ingle, who isn't even in his top 5 wins beat Jr Jones. You know, the guy that beat Barrera silly twice? Naz was so good in the minds of your actual greatest fighters in history, that they ducked for years. So they clearly didn't feel the same way as you.
Same with Khan. Marquez clearly wanted nothing to do with him. But if he was a nobody, why would he refuse? What was he scared of?
