Comments Thread For: Tommy Fury Denies Claims Of Training Camp Issues Contributing To Jake Paul Fight Fallout

Tommy Fury has left the fight to clear his travel status in the hands of his legal team. He's taken the lead, however, to clear his name against disparaging rumors from any source--including his own family. The unbeaten light heavyweight remains on the outside looking in as Jake Paul (5-0, 4KOs) moves forward with his career. The two were on course to meet August 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, only for Manchester's Fury (8-0,

“If it’s not coming from me, don’t believe it because it’s not the truth.”
You don't know how to lie like Tyson and 'Gypsy-John'. Nobody wants to hear from you no more, Tommy ; keep Jake Paul's name out of your mouth, you useless Euro-Bum.

when theres a will theres a way, he didnt put any effort into finding a way round the fight. my impression is that he didnt fancy the job, although jake paul isnt sugar ray robinson hes took training seriously for a while now and is probably better than a lot of people think, i.e not some future champ but not some youtube level fighter.hes probably trained more in last couple years than fury has. if tommy lost to him he'd have been a laughing stock especially given the family he comes from.

I seriously doubt that Jake and his team will ever pursue a fight with Tommy ever again.

It's probably over. Jake doesn't need the fight but it would've helped Tommy and his profile a lot.

I don't have any opinion about Jake, but Tommy is making Jake likeable within the boxing community. Tommy has no respect for the game. I now believe that Tommy is a part-time boxer. I knew he won't take the fight now when Tyson indirectly told him to retire if he cannot beat a YouTuber. Tommy should stick to what he does on Instagram and all that. For me, he is not a real boxer and nothing wrong with that. I did not ever envisage that I would say something positive about Jake's boxing career. Dude is putting the work in required to be successful, and I respect that.

You NOW believe he's a part time boxer? I'm pretty sure Paul would've KO'd this idiot male model.

Waste of an article. Let him build himself up. I'm tired of him begging Paul for a payday. Take your craft seriously and prove it against real Fighter's.

Didn’t find a way? Paul will only fight in the US. Fury is on a no-fly list to the US. There’s no “finding a way” when you’re in the NSA/FBI no fly list.
