Enough of the chit-chat, make the fight happen, if it doesn't happen these two will look like a pair of cowards

When Spence is doing his forward march behind his high guard, what do u think Bud is going to be doing? And when Bud crack Spence real good with speed and power,, do u think Spence is just gonna eat it and keep coming like he did with Danny and Ugas, or will Bud's punches actually hurt Spence and get his respect? How will Bud nullify the pressure from Spence and take some of that stamina away from him? I feel like I already know the answers, but these are questions I need to see the answered in the ring. This is a real treat for boxing fans, like being able to see Charley Burley fight Eddie Booker, which never did happen. Now let's throw Boots Ennis in the mix as soon as possible. Don't go to 154 guys. Stay and play with Boots

The problem with these 2, is they think this match up is on the PAC vs Mayweather type of magnitude and want to get paid like that, when it's nowhere near that. Especially on the Crawford side, he's never sold more than 150k in ppv, this fight still sells, but realistically it does somewhere between 500-700k. 12-15 million purse for Spence, and 10-12 million for Crawford is what they should be getting and expecting, anything more should be tied to ppv sales percentage. And showtime and other media needs to stop calling this the biggest fight in boxing, it's not, it's the best match up in boxing, not the biggest fight, Canelo vs pretty much anyone is the biggest fight in boxing, especially when you start talking about Canelo vs Charlo or Benavides those fights would do much more business, believe it or not, GGG vs Canelo will do more money than Crawford vs Spence.

Great post. The one thing I'll add is where does either of them go if they don't do this? Crawford defending his bauble against Taylor and Spence moving to 154 in a much more dangerous fight against Charlo are worse options for both. They should get real and make it, but if it gets away I won't be that bothered either. It will be no greater loss to me than Pavlik - Abraham not happening (which was disappointing at the time but was soon forgotten after both lost and their careers ended with a whimper).

Crawford must be the one being unreasonable. Well if they don't fight. I am fine will the mandatories they gotta face. If they move up, good to because Jermell is up there waiting.

Do you know who Spence's next mandatory will be? I thought the WBA were going to order Spence - Stanionis as part of their title reduction plan but they seem to have gone quiet on that. Presumably because they've been too busy breaking the rotation rule to strip Josh Taylor and elevating Jarrell Miller back into their top 15.
