How the **** that could be.

If you get fine for comming above a certain weight, that means that the fight was meant for that certain weight. Cotto can also come in at 146, but he will get his ass fined and he will get stripped.

Lol the fight is at 147 but if you come in over 144 you get fined? Thast one of the most ******ed things I have ever heard. LMAO jajajaajajajaja

I think it is much ado about nothing, JMM and Golden Boy had to know because Floyd was always talking about this being a weltweight fight. IF there is a mistake it is on Golden Boy because Floyd has said the same thing all along. It is messed up and whatever heat he gets is fine aswells as teh penalties. Atleast Floyd's camp did not try and cheat like JLC or pull a Guzman and disapeer (not like Floyd is in a position to do that anyways).

It all depends on the wording of the contract, and it is not like this was an unforseen issue it was out in the open if Golden Boy didn't know what was up that is terrible on them. Floyd deserves some heat though and further more it was of his own making because it didn't need to be like that.

ok so lets see the CONTRACT was set at 147. Can you show me where the contract says anyone has to come in at 144? I've asked this all day and no one could find it, but there's confirmation everywhere the CONTRACT LIMIT is/was 147 so if you want to prove richard shafer, jmm, floyd mayweather, kevin Iole, and dan rafael go ahead i'll be waiting.

You got balls man. Are you willing to take that risk knowing it's a bit dangerous for a welterweight Floyd, who didn't even bother to shed weight to make "HIS" stipulated catchweight fighting against a career featherweight?

Just wait for another Baldomir type of fighter to come along and you can bet all you want...

You yourself have answer your own question in this thread.

Well if it is a 147lbs fight, but you will get fine if you come over 144, what teh **** that tells you?
