Marquez should have stuck to his guns.

I guarantee if Marquez said **** you and the 600K, fight at 144 or no fight, Mayweather would have got in a sauna and made weight no matter what. This guy needs the money more than Marquez does. His ****** plan would have back fired, and he would have had to make the weight, or get ****d by the IRS some more.

Dude are you kidding, Marquez made an extra 600k$ for that debacle. That's more money than you'll make in your entire life. Or me and you both combined I'm sure Marquez was PRAYING that Floyd came in at one more pound of 147 so that he can make close to a million $ extra. You realize that's like 30% extra towards Marquez's purse.

I can see your point but that type of play ain't in Marquez's playbook, Bully. He's a warrior ; Dinamita es un guerrero, y el número uno de México! 2 pounds, 4 pounds, 5 pounds, 6 pounds ; it don't matter to him. This motherfucker is driven to fight if ever I've seen someone who possessed that drive.

He's chucking those stones, eating 25 quail eggs a day, putting in the miles, doing the bag work, the sparring, and drinking that piss. He busted his ass to get to this stage and it's his time to shine ; win, lose, or draw ; Floyd's going to know he's been in a fight.

For real. If you only live 50 years, that totals out to almost 33 bucks a day.

              WTF is right.

he didnt do that because he isnt a *****. and those would be your guns not juans. if he did that and won he would have always thought he beat floyd drained. but if he can beat floyd now its no excuses. the weight dont mean nothing when it comes to top notch boxers. if it did they juan diaz and joel should have beaten juan no problem. oscar should have beating floyd. and def pacman. juan is a real fighter and he wants to beat the best at his best.

I agree. He will regret he did not make Floyd play by the rules. This will be a costly mistake on Juan's part. Money talks though.

JMM is comming to win no doubt, I am sure he must have known that this was a possibility by the way Floyd was always talking about the weight. JMM said he wanted to take on the best fighter, and he is fighting Floyd at his best. JMM deserves all the props in the world for just attempting this, even if he loses badly people should still give him tons of respect and if he wins he deserves all the accolades that will come afterward.
