I hope we don't get a Gatti-Gamache situation on our hands with JMM on the receiving end of it.

Blame the Pac fans who don't really want to see Pac in the ring with Floyd. They know Marquez is better than Pac so if he can't do it then Pac won't.

Gatti-Gamache situation? Floyd isn't likely to outweigh him that much in the ring and isn't much of a brute in the ring...can't see him doing serious harm apart from cosmetically, if at all.

I take it you won't believe that he owes **** loads of money to the IRS unless you hear it from Floyd either? Even though it's on public records. GBP have already said Floyd has to pay compensation for being over the limit, and ESPN reported it's to be $300,000 per lb so it looks like he owes Marquez $600,000. I just wonder if he tried to make weight or used this as an advantage and didn't really wanna make weight. Could be either really, only Floyd knows.

I don't see why the hell they do all this catch weight bull****. If you call out a fighter in another weight division then YOU move to that weight. Why should anyone cater to your needs because you are too small? You call him out then you want special accommodations. Fuck that.

Anyway, if Juan gets hurt it will be Nacho's fault for either not training him correctly or not calling the fight earlier and letting him continue.

Marquez is to blame. You face your foes, you take the credit for a win, you take the criticism for a loss.

Floyld is doing his job, which is to win, especially since he needs the money.

GBP are also doing their job, don't let Oscar's soft voice fool you, he's in it to make the money. E.g picking on little Manny... or on Hatton and wanting it in Wembley stadium (90K+ seats) when he looked **** vs Lazcano. He only cares for JMM because he's making money.

Golden Boy Promotions. They made it come together, but I hope neither guy gets hurt.

IMO they made the fight at 144 so boxing fans won't demand him to fight at 147 VS Mosley, Cotto, Williams, Berto, Clottey and even Marg. Also it would seem like a huge mismatch since Marquez has only fought at 135 recently and 2 weight classes up would make Floyld lose a lot of legitamacy. If it is the case he can only go low as 146, then it will be Manny or a top welter people will only pay to see.

You are the only person that brought up Bernstein to be blamed. I totally agree. It's the fighters job to fight but its his trainer's job to make sure he doesn't get ****ed over. Anybody can say things about Freddy Roach but you can't say he doesn't protect his fighters to the best of his abilities.
