Cant find a Bar that will show boxing today

I think that the bars don't really show boxing because of how greedy HBO is. They charge OUTRAGEOUS fees to the bars for showing boxing. It costs the home owners 55$ for the fight but at a bar, they get charged like per TV or something. UFC only charges them the same rate that the homeowners get charged. The bars would have to charge a door fee of like 10$ for each guy coming into the bar just to break even on the PPV fee.
HBO knows that the bars would make a killing off of all the people that would show up if they were only charging the bars 55$ for the fight, it is more like 550$ so the bars say forget it, I'm going with UFCComment

How many trailer parks could you fit in a well populated city of 400,000 people to come up with a conclusion that everyone there is a white redneck? I won't deny that most people would rather see UFC, but that's the case EVERYWHERE. UFC is giant in the mainstream.... GIANT. Without a doubt. Change your TV to ****e TV and tell me whats on. UFC right? That entire channel can thrive off of MMA. It shows how much people pay attention toward it rather than boxing. And what about those boxing shows? The Contender? Terrible. UFC thrives because it appeals to a larger audience. That's why those inexperiencd fighters on TUF can win it and be a top contender easily. It takes little to no difficulty. If every bar around the US is showing UFC, it shows that a small line of fighters in MMA can out hustle a giant fight in Boxing. The only cities that can rely for exceptions are the big boxing cities that have always been that way. NYC, LA, Chi, etc. But other than that, 99% of the US would rather tune into MMA than Boxing because it has more of a social aspect rather than a sport aspect. That's why it lives so well. You have to take into account the region you're at. This guy I quoted up here ^ says his location is Minneapolis. Bunch of trailer park hicks there ofcourse they're going to show that skinhead UFC **** ****. There's no blacks or mexicans there to want to see Floyd or Marquez fight. In bigger cities they'll be showing boxing. And in places that have obviously big Marquez and/or Floyd following.Comment

Well, we'll see tonight how accurate your presumptions are won't we? We'll see which PPV dominates which. Then again, maybe we won't because Dana White makes up his #'s and lies about them and there's no way to ever accurately gauge UFC's PPV numbers. How many trailer parks could you fit in a well populated city of 400,000 people to come up with a conclusion that everyone there is a white redneck? I dislike MMA as much as you, man. But worldwide, the boxing is bigger, no doubt. Boxing is more international than MMA. But in the US, it's no doubt more people will be talking about it than boxing. The numbers may be lower because all those casual UFC fans will travel to bars to watch the fight, but the boxing fans will stay home in partys to watch the fight. Get what I'm saying?Comment

Stop making excuses, thats all UFC does and stop saying MMA. MMA doesn't do jack ****, its one company and thats the UFC. Mayweather PPV will do better number and thats it, cut and dry. UFC's product is garbage and tonight is a prime example and that is why a ton of their fans will be tuning into boxing.I dislike MMA as much as you, man.
