How does his stamina suck when during their rematch Golovkin was able to have a resurgence in the second half? Canelo’s stamina has ****** cuz he has no sort of resurgence in the Bivol fight. He gasses out and relies heavily on his strength.

People throw around the question of retirement as if it’s something small for these fighters but you’re talking about them leaving something they’ve been doing their entire lives. From the looks of it, Golovkin still wants to continue but is simply taking things one fight at a time. He seems to be more in tune with reality and how he needs to manage his career more carefully.

Basically, as long as they keep writing him checks, he will keep cashing them… and well, why wouldn’t he?
