I'm sure he had a medical condition. Can't see how changing trainers brings on a medical condition. If you have any insight, please enlighten me.

His diagnosed condition was rhabdomyolosis or something along those lines which is essentially a rapid breakdown of muscle tissue. Biggest culprit?....over exertion...aka,making weight. Not a fatiguing stretch there

Ortiz is a strong fighter. He needs to move up to 154. The weight bullying has to stop. He almost exploded his kidneys.

Go after a title or big name thurman then move up to 154. Weight draining aint good for you. Save boots for either catchweight or 154 both yall have the talent to be champs either division.

I’m a fan of Ortiz but I feel like he lost something in that Mean Machine TKO win, his defense has to be fixed. It would also be a smart move for him to move up to 154 since he struggles to make 147 and is about blow up him kidneys trying to. Once Spence-Crawford is official,
you might as well move up 154 since there will be some good money fights there

I get all that. That's his choice. I'm not getting the relevance of a new trainer bringing on his medical condition.

Forgot to quote you in my last response but the distraction of searching for a new trainer, bouncing around from gym to gym etc its plausible his conditioning/weight could've gotten away from him right? Rapid weight cut to make the McKinson fight and you have his condition. He's never struggled to make weight in any other of his previous fight,is healthy for this one so just connecting dots I guess.
