    Skelton-Pianeta, Sylvester-Lorenzo today in Germany

There a very good fight card in Germany today:

Giovanni Lorenzo vs. Sebastian Sylvester for the IBF middleweight title vacated by Arthur Abraham.

Matt Skelton vs. Francesco Pianeta for the European (EBU) heavyweight title.

Young cruiserweight Alexander Frenkel, who scored a spectacular KO last Saturday, will fight Jozsef Nagy.

And 2008 Olympian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev, who recently fought in the world amateur tournament in Milan, will make his pro debut against Florian Benke.

I like Frenkel, Frenkel vs Huck in the future will be a good battle.

And Sylvester should beat Lorenzo fairly easy.

And the New IBF Middleweight Champ of the World----- Sebastian Sylvester.

          early result from fight news:

Lorenzo had trouble making the weight and had to step the scale twice to make the limit of 160.

Frenkels kayo last week was brutal. This guy packs a solid wallop. Look for him to end matters early today as well.

Yes, he signed with Sauerland right after the tournament, and they got him a fight immediately. They plan on having him fight once a month this year, so he'll have four pro fights completed at the beginning of 2010. Unlike Universum, Sauerland does an excellent job of developing their boxers.

The physically fit Pulev is a good addition to the heavyweight division, and should at least reach the top 50, and possibly become a contender.
