GGG looks bigger than Canelo during this "off season" faceoff.

I wonder what they both walk around at between fights and now rehydrate to

One thing that may land Canelo in trouble is that over the last few years he's fallen in love with his power. His defense is still good, but it's no longer great. His reflexes are good, but are not great (still better than G, due to age). If you look at Canelo's fights with Callum Smith, Kovalev, BJS, and Bivol, he fought in spurts and was always looking for that one punch. He did figure out Callum and BJS. He also got some absurdly favorable scoring cards in his fights. Kovalev was VERY successful. We saw what happened with Bivol.

Canelo from the 2nd GGG fight is not the same fighter as one that fought Bivol or Plant. He's slower, sits on his shots more, gets tired, and doesn't defend as well.

The odds are stacked heavily in Canelo's favor, and yeah, he improved in some areas. But he also got worse in some others.

Old medieval warriors used to say they can smell blood. Today they call it food, fighters on prime smells it, a decrepit decaying 40-year old fighter. Beware beware though, some of em' can still punch.

Eh, not really, he's wearing suits. And even when they faced off for the Yankees, he's wearing a thick shirt under the jersey. When you see him in just a t-shirt or the training pics before their press tour, he doesn't look that big, at least not like he did before their first fight.

Canelo has been outboxed repeatedly, round after round, by good boxers, but those without much punch. Against Bivol most of his punches were blocked or not scoring blows. Some rounds he did not land a scoring punch. Canelo’s footwork was ponderous, just trying to walk forward. His defense was his gloves trying to unsuccessfully cover his face. Canelo thinks he’s better, but little to show in the skills department. Improved punching power which may be due to PEDs. Triple G is fighting in a weight class he has never fought. Hagler never fought heavier than middleweight. And GGG is 40. If Canelo doesn’t win impressively, it shows his prime is gone.

Beware Hopkins Vs Trinidad. Hoping for honest judges. That’s so rare when Canelo fights. Canelo didn’t win one minute against Mayweather, yet one judge gave Canelo a draw. The first Triple G fight it was a beat down. One judge was so awful she was suspended for a year. Canelo was caught juicing twice, yet he complains about Triple G. Canelo has a very good chin, but he’s slow and winds up to throw. Could you imagine what Hagler, Leonard or Hearns would have done to him? Roy Jones Jr. would have smoked him. Pound for pound my foot.
