    Mayweather after the layoff

Since Mayweather's layoff something seems to have changed

    1) training injuries

    2) failed to make weight

Is this the same guy who use to train so hard to barely break a sweat? Or is this someone who ran out of money and looked for the easiest source of cash?

over the last year me and you have talked about this extensively. I think with age has come these issues that most fighters deal with as they get older. The reality is, neither of will know until tonight. Certainly, this makes his matchups alot more even then they were a few years ago. With the possibility that he will get old overnight at any moment.

I think this fight is 50/50 because of those reasons.

Taking off 2 years can mess with you I'm sure. Especially when the guy you are fighting has been kicking ass while you've been away. It should be a good fight.

That's my point. This is the same guy who trained for Henry Bruseles as intensely as if he was going to face Aaron Pryor.

SRL retired for 2 years, came back and beat MH for the Middleweight title in 87'.
                You may never know .

yeah I am curious. So many things went wrong in this guy's career. I mean he had an excellent career, but it could have been a lot better (and more satisfactory to us fans) with that kind of dedication and ring smarts.

I mean... the ppl he fought when he should have been at his physical peak (2003-2005). Chasing Oscar. Fighting Oscar. And now this 2 years layoff. with the clear idea of having a rematch. I am not saying all or none of this is his fault, but it just went down this way.
