Against the other young up ‘n’ comers in the sport of boxing?
How do you rate Bam ‘Wee Man’ Rodriguez

He's as good as any, maybe the best footwork in the sport. Moved up 2 weight classes and beat Cuadras and SSR back to back in his first two fights at 115. Fighter of the year for the first half of the year for sure, another big win or two and he will be right up there in the conversation no matter what happens with anyone else in the second half. -
I think he’s very talented and is gonna be one of the defining names of the lower weight classes in the next few years but I do think people are getting a little carried away. Cuadras and Sor Rungvisai had both visibly declined, they certainly weren’t the same fighters Chocolatito fought for example. I still think Bam needs to beat Gonzalez or Estrada to become the top guy at 115. They’re still #1 and #2 for me.Comment

I would place him as the best up and comer.
At this pace, IF (big if) he keeps it up until 29, he can be looked at as better than 29 year old Inoue, Estrada, and Gonzalez. At those ages.
As far as other up and comers, well, he already has better wins than Jarron Ennis and Vergil Ortiz who are older than him.
His two wins over Cuadras and Rungvisai make his resume better than David Benavidez, who’s 3 years older.
Better resume than Joyce, Hgovic and Sanchez (HW).
I am not entirely sure how fans perceive Zurdo Ramirez. Is he a 31 year old prospect? He has wins over Abraham and 2 against Hart, in what feels like 10 years ago…then nothing.
David Morrell’s mouth is better than his 6-fight resume. It’s easy to have a better resume than this loudmouth.
Bam has already surpassed Demetrius Andrade, the oldest up and comer in boxing who ducked Lara and Charlo when he had the chance. Easy pick there.
I am a bit tired though, I am ending the list here.Comment
