          It's better than the fight being cancelled why should the opponent lose his payday just because the other guy didn't do his job.

          600k is a lot of money in the real world so I don't really care about the amount as long as it all gets worked out in the end.

            It's nothing new. It didn't start with tonight's fight.

            It's been a clause in contracts for a long while now.

            It's either: "Ok, we'll take the fight anyway... or "No, we're not going to go forward with it."

              Yep and it's really a big lose lose situation for Marquez. It's like "take the fight with the little hope I had of winning now being gone" or "dump the fight and look like a ***** to all my fans and lose a payday."
