Bivol beat Canelo with the jab and activity. That's the way GGG beat him as well. Not exactly the same ways but very similar.

This fight will still come down to GGG's activity/output edge, vs Canelo's counter punching/sharp punching/combos.

If GGG is able to be competitive early, it will be interesting to see how each guy's gas tank is in a fight at 168.

I favor Canelo to win but GGG outpointing him (on a normal person's card) is still a real possibility.

Hey, maybe he could have a JMM vs Pac moment but I haven't liked what I've seen from GGG since they last fought. Seems more people are picking with their hearts and not their minds on this one but we will see.

Even if Canelo hasn't improved, he's closer to prime than GGG who has obviously declined.

GGG Signed a 6 fight deal with dazn. This is fight number 5. Unless he gets knocked out by canelo, he'll fight munguia as fight number 6

Yep I don't disagree with any of that. It will definitely be a case of whether GGG's volume/workrate/jab are good enough and strong enough to keep Canelo somewhat neutralized and uncomfortable.

If Canelo is really pushing GGG back early and GGG isn't able to throw/land a lot of shots, then you have to really favor Canelo to win, even by KO potentially.

But if GGG is able to push the pace of the fight then I would still slightly favor him. That's a big if though.

For a guy who wasted his entire prime years facing bum after bum after bum, his fan base act as if he was putting in work.
I can't think of a fighter who couldn't beat the guys PRIME GGG beat.
