Yeah. The Lopez thing is definitely not going to happen. I'm kind of worried about Lopez, to be honest. He showed serious signs of mental instability, and if you look at his next opponent, it shows you that Top Rank is handling him with kids gloves right now. But Haney is definitely the fight to make. Kambosos is a bit of a nuisance right now. No body thinks he has a shot anymore.

Tank "I'll Fight Loma Next Year" Davis is definitely not going to happen. Cryin' Ryan won't do it with his Fortuna gig and ties to DAZN. Huggin' Haney mightbe the only guy that's possible, if Top Rank can persuade Kambosos to take another fight. All doubtful.

Anyway, there are certain fighters out there whom I will always watch, regardless, and Loma is one of those. However, I think it would be interesting if Loma fights a common opponents of Haney's. JoJo Diaz. Abdulaev quit in his corner like in the fourth round because of an eye injury, so I don't care too much for that fight, but it's the only one that seems the most likely. All the other lightweights are with different networks and/or promoters now.
Fresh off the frontlines, Lomo is ready to be plucked. If Haney got on that and dominated (never happen), I would give him respect. Hell, the time is now to get that Loma fight for everyone out there.

War never makes you stronger. People like to say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, I don't believe it. I believe what doesn't kill you makes you weaker. All these top cats should turn their lasers on Lomo right now if they want that notch in their belts.

Loma would never fight Shakur, that kid is unbeatable right now unless he moves into a weight he can't keep his head above water at.

Yeah. I definitely agree that what doesn't kill you has definitely ****ed you up. I suppose it's how much negative stress he's experienced because everyone can handle a certain amount of negative stress before being pushed over the edge. Maybe he hasn't "fallen over the cliff" yet.

The thing about Shakur is that I'm not so sure if he'd be able to beat Loma, and I'll tell you why. Shakur is so defensively oriented that he doesn't pay attention to how much of the ring he's giving up, and he's very set in using the lean back and back steps, so he'll find himself up against the ropes. It happens a lot. Shakur is also a very linear fighter. He moves forwards and backward but doesn't really have any lateral movement. The other interesting thing that I saw was an interview at the end of Loma's camp for Rigo. Shakur was brought in as a sparring partner for Loma, and he was interviewed right when they were rapping up camp. The interviewed him literally right in next to Loma and his team. The interviewer asked him what sparring Loma was like, and he said that he didn't do that well, that he was upset with himself and that he had done better when he had first arrived. But then he went on to say that it was "okay" because he was grateful to have the opportunity to spar with Loma. He said that it had been a great learning experience.

I found that interesting because that was a completely different tone than the one we heard later, where he was hinting that he got the better of Loma without actually saying it. It turns out that the reason he wasn't saying it is due to the fact that it wasn't true. The opposite was actually true. Loma got the better of Shakur. Yeah, that was four years ago, but I guarantee you that Loma learned far more about Shakur than Shakur learned about Loma. The only advantage that Shakur has now is that he's gotten bigger. Maybe the size difference could give Loma some problems when you have Shakur's skill set. I'd like to see that fight, regardless.

I believe Shakur can do it all and I believe he's the #1 talent in the sport.

I don't know enough about him and how he talks to infer truth from him or not, but what I do know and I know for a fact is when you spar someone, you learn what's inside their bag of tricks. I've seen in it in the pro's (Devalle.Jones) and I've done it myself.

So you got me looking for this video, but I don't see any.

I’d like to imagine that Shakur would be the last of Loma’s career before retiring.

Bring on Isaac Cruz. Coming off a win against Gamboa and holder of a second tier title. If Loma beats him in a more dominating fashion than Tank, it makes a statement, and it’s a good win before he takes on Haney.

Tank would be ideal and would do pretty good ppv #'s. Balls in MP/PBC's court as I'm sure Bob and or Loma would have zero issues making that fight next.

Yeah. You see. Shakur's full of ****. And Arum was probably right that Shakur lasted one round with Loma the first time. Doing better than a bunch of other guys that did terrible isn't saying that Shakur did good necessarily.

Here's a video I found where Shakur kind of contradicts himself:

You can see in his tone that when he said "today was my worst day" that it didn't go well at all for him. He really talks a lot of ****, just like most American boxers.

Yes. Definitely. That would be the fight to retire off of.

That's another good fight! Isaac Cruz. I think the best fights will be the ones where we get to see Loma fight the common opponent of the guy we want him to actually fight, be it Tank, Shakur or Haney.

Yeah. Tank would be great, but from everyone I've heard talk about it, Mayweather is still in no rush to make that fight. But I guess we can hope for the best.
