MMA will definitely take over. And that's not a bad thing if you think about it. MMA offers you 5 top quality fights for the price of ONE ppv. In a boxing PPV you never know what you are going to get and if the main fight sucks then it's wasted money. In MMA there is ALWAYS at least two memorable fights EVERYTIME.

Boxing will be just fine. I know Manny and Vladimir dont speak english, but I don't think I've heard Michael Jordan say two words my entire life, and I still like basketball. How strange.

The only people who missed the guy are those chugging on his Nuts, frankly Boxing was better off without him coming back.

If Floyd were to retire permanently it would be the end of civilisation as we know it.

It will be ok reguardless. If Floyd goes out then they can transfer their hate to the next best black boxer, Paul Williams. Its funny that he is the polar opposite of Floyd and still catches hell from so-called boxing fans. The common denominator is that their black and speak their mind.

come on dude. that's what they said after dempsey, ali, tyson, leonard, hagler etc, etc. Floyd doesn't carry half the weight that any of those superstars did. boxing isn't going any place. it's flourishing. Pacquiao is the only fighter out there with universal appeal. 7/10 people in North America don't even know Floyd and whether he works for the janitor's union or the WWE.

Boxing is going any place my friend.

Any relation to Johnny by the way?

Boxing was doing fine without Mayweather, but here is the next boxing Super Star.

The next JC Chavez (Chavez didn't speak a word of english), Televisa (the most powerful Network in Mexico) is promoting him like the next Mexican Idol, almost everybody knows him in Mexico.

And the Mexican-Americans will support him in the States (THE BIG MARKET OF BOXING IN AMERICA).

                    And he's just 19

                    His last fight, brutal right!
