Yes Trav...and the reason I said that is because, certain ppl tend to believe the only fights that will be competitive for Floyd are the ones when he is hugely outweighed by his opponent. I just wanted to see where you were on this particular thing.

Your smilie usage is a sign of a mentally challenged person. Don't talk to me about styles, BOY, I've took dumps reading a Car and Driver longer then you, and your "boxing knowledge."

If Cotto came in at 147 at the weigh-in, then a Floyd win would be fully credited... likewise if Floyd came in at 147

If fighters are making the weight they have comfortably fought at before, then there's nothing to argue with... people are always going to be questioning somebody making their debut at a weight

Something people tend to forget is that Marquez asked for this fight. He knew Floyd was a welterweight. As such, it's very reasonable that Marquez fights Floyd anywhere within the welter limit. To hell with the catchweights. Can't wait for this fight. WAR.

EXACTLY! I give JMM all the credit in the world for having the brass one's for taking this fight. Do I actually think Mayweather is going to shut down JMM for six rounds? NO. JMM is going to shine for the first 3 rounds or so. But maybe Mayweathers most underated asset is his ability to figure out how to adapt to an opponent while the fight is in the heat. I see a lot of "OMG FLOYD IZ RUNNIN" and "RING RUST LOLZ" for the first few rounds. He is going to catch Marquez with a big counter, and it is going to be all down hill from there. Lead rights, sneaky left hooks, body shots on the inside that people don't realise, confidence, and a general overall sense of the inevitable. This thread was never a diss to JMM.
