I don't mind this fight at all. Buatsi got past a big test in Richards and while some may say he is not ready, I will counter by saying when exactly will he be ready? Sometimes a fighter is what he is at this point in their career.

Hopefully we get a good, competitive fight!
Buatsi is top ten by the ring, tbrb and boxrec. It could be worse and unlike Yarde, Buatsi has amatuer pedigree.

Lol, if Canelo wants to take the rematch after the GGG fight in September, then it will happen no doubt. But if he doesn't want the rematch, then we are one step closer to getting the big undisputed showdown!

Garbage fight, make the big fights and quit feeding the bumbums up on a silver platter.

I agree. Should’ve been Ramirez. Buatsi does nothing.

Yeah, sanctioning bodies aren't getting in the way of Canelo paydays

Can't quite understand the hate on this one. Granted it's not the fight we all want but the only other possibly more meaningful fight at Light Heavy would be Zurdo. Buatsis #3 per the TBRB and will be #5 or #6 by the Ring once they adjust Smith and Vlasov for their serious Ls. Mundo maybe? Browne... if he's recovered from being utterly broken by Beterbiev?

Sure it ain't super exciting and does feel a little bit of a let down but it is a solid enough fight.

Hearn wants to keep it in house and make sure he has the Bivol rematch there for Canelo after the GGG fight so he can sign him to another deal.

Such a waste. Bivol v Beterbiev should be next.

Let Zurdo and Butasi fight. Winner gets in line after Yarde.

First, why does Bivol look like he has breasts? And Buatsi looks depressed.

Anyway, this is not a terrible fight. I think if fighters are trying to get the best possible fight they can, it’s all good. Bivol isn’t fighting some fighter outside of the Ring/TBRB top 10. Buatsi is a top 10 fighter. Not every fight in boxing can be a mega fight. Canelo is fighting at 168 vs GGG, Zurdo idk he’s at GBP, we would need to ask DLH about him.
