If AJ beats Usyk and I know it’s a big IF, but it’s possible, then does he become the number one heavyweight in the world over tyson fury?

Because his resume will be better than Furys as adding a name like Usyk onto it would make it gold dust.

Or would fury still be number one as he’s never lost?

No, you MIGHT be able to argue you think he's a better fighter than fury at his best (that's subjective) but he doesn't have the consistency to be above fury.

No, Fury's still on top. If AJ gets passed Usyk him and Fury must fight for the throne and all the belts.

It’s arguably a better win than anything Fury has done. Wilder wins won’t be looked upon kindly by history because wilder is so poor quality and will likely come back to get KOd.

If Josh beats usyk, fury only remains no1 heavyweight on condition he fights josh. If he has no plans to prove he can best josh, then of course Josh is no1.
But all the indicators are there Josh would be no1, and all fury needs to do to change that is best josh

Given what is going on in Ukraine, Usyk might not prepare properly and this fight will be looked upon with somewhat an asterisk.

I'd put him above Fury just. The whole Boar meat PEDs is under looked in my opinion. I think AJ has more names of a higher level ok his resume (Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Whyte), and Fury 3 names in his resume (Whyte, Klitschko, Wilder). Saying that Fury beats everyone on AJs resume, whereas I'm not sure AJ beats Wilder.

Nobody can call themselves a real champion in the division until they fight and beat Fury.
