Comments Thread For: Gilberto Ramirez: Bivol Has Been Talking About a Fight For Two Years - It's Time!

Former WBO super middleweight champion and current WBA light heavyweight mandatory challenger Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez (44-0, 30 KOs) is confident that the WBA will order Dmitry Bivol, the reigning World Boxing Association (WBA) champion, to fight him next.

Really hope Bivol does take this to shut this idiot up. Not even a hype job, nobody likes him. Hate the idea of him getting a shot but would love to see him get destroyed even more.

I think this is very winnable fight for Bivol, I just don't see Golden boy allowing it to happen, as it goes against their business model of taking a rather popular mexican fighter and making as much money as possible off of him fighting nobodies to pad his record and hope to cash him out big time ideally.

I would like to see this fight but if he doesn't get it I'd like to see him pad his record with cans to get to 51-0

No clue why WBA not ordering this one Immediately, same with WBC at 160 with Charlo and Munguia

it is funny how these Belt Organizations work, when they have good Mandatory Fighters in place they drag their feet to order a fight however when it is a fighter we never heard up they want to try and order those Mandatory's Immediately

if not Beterbiev vs Bivol next then it should be Bivol vs Zurdo or damn can we at least get Zurdo vs Buatsi for Interim

man this guy has fought nothing but tomato cans. He's got 44 fights and I can only recognize like 3 fighters and they were all garbage B- fighters.

Dude fights Arthur Abraham in 2016 and then in 2018 he fights Angulo ( who just went pitty pat dancing with Bumlanga) and in 2021 he fights Sullivan Barrera I mean he's 31 years old he should of been done something???

at this rate he'll be going for the cool 100-0 I mean what a blatant display of a padded record this one is.

I remember watching this dude back in like 2014-2016 and thinking maybe him and canelo can get it on soon but wow how time flies and records get padded.
