Folks didn’t take to him at first and he said a lot of controversial statements that created a love/hate relationship but he can fill a stadium just as easily as Josh and the difference is he wins and went to the usa and beat the beat line Lewis did. Young male casuals love Joshua because they want to look like him, real boxing fans love fury because he is the goods
They support who's winning
Although that has a limit too as I've seen the "ardcores" on es...b and other forums slowly start turning on fury now as "he's getting too big for his boots" which is what happens when anyone gets "too successful" in this country.Comment

He and several others who were literally only here and watching boxing because of Joshua no longer post.
having said that I am curious as to what kind of energy we will see from my home country once Joshua is no longer a serious player in global boxing. The resurgence of boxing in the U.K. is largely due to Anthony Joshua and his immense popularity particularly among younger casual males

Whole “AJ haters vanish when he wins” narrative cuts both ways of course. There’s a few AJ bashers here for sure. They generally seem to have disdain for obnoxious windbag Hearn. More prevalent here are folks with bizarre seething hate for Fury and Wilder. Read a lot of posts accepting Wilder was exposed and in retrospect was limited. Exciting 1 punch KO power but limited. Haven’t read any of that honestly from AJ fans and Matchroom paid interns after 2 clear defeats to opponents who were not the #1 HW of this era. And also zero honesty about Whyte after his brutal beatings. Sing when your winning but man up and show humility when you guessed wrong
Totally agree with everything you posted
My issue is why same 5 ppl bash everything Hearn Matchroom AJ
Be Fair
If Matchroom puts on a good card give it praise
When AJ wins accept it
and Promoters dont fight soo why bother to comment on them?

Well Josh weren't fighting in ukraine, and he likely been training a few hours after being slumped on his stool after bell for 12th round ended. So longer than usyk.
I think Josh wins, but you never know if usyk visualizes Josh as ***** he might punch holes in joshComment

Very excited for this, I like bantering Joshua Fans, but really I'm intrigued to see what him & Robert have been working on, I give Joshua credit because he's really punting on himself here. You could say his career at this level is at stake. To deal with that and get out there I can only respect that massively.
With that said I think Usyk is just all wrong for Joshua, Usyk fights at too fast a pace and has a superior work rate that Joshua simply cannot compete with.
Fury is all wrong for wilder though Especially in fight 1. Maybe Joshua could clip Usyk with something and keep Oleksandr down. We know AJ only hope is win by stoppage. That's why it's fascinating to me, if Joshua tries boxing again I doubt his reputation could recover. Likely be deemed feeble.Comment

I don't think Josh has the fortitude to do what he has to do vs him ( use his size and outfight him)Comment
