Canelo won’t go near Beterbiev now.

When Beterbiev is 39 and looks bad in fights/has financial trouble, I fully expect Canelo to pick him.

Never underestimate Team Clen’s ability to cherry pick and lack of shame.

After the Bivol fight I think Canelo realises he’s not big enough for 175 - at least against the top prime guys.

At 168 Canelo has a good shot at beating everyone.

are we even sure canelo will be back at 175 at all? i don't think a rematch with bivol happens. there is nothing he can do to beat the guy. the extra weight on him killed him, he got tired faster than usual.

Why would he have financial trouble? The guy is the definition of humble family man.

Assuming undisputed happens at 175, the winner will dump the belts, and some slug from 168 will grab a belt. Canelo will move up and fight him. I'm thinking over-hyped Benavidez.

might find that canelo retires soon as he risks becoming a gatekeeper and a name for people to get on their records. the game is up and theres nowhere to go after GGG3. its open season on him now, people know hes a fraud and i think even some of the B/C level fighters who he would have beat in the past wont be intimidated by him any more and put it on him from first bell. theres lots of fighters around who could give him a good hiding and its more than likely hes mentally broke now, wont be at the level he was before (not that he was anything special in the first place).

Well it's a fighters responsibility to be in fighting shape when your a prizefighter. Sure beterbiev might being a few years older but there's no guarantee nelo won't age overnight also. What will nelo be like after beatings from big PFP fighters like bivol.
Pac got no credit for beating broner or mattheus at 40 as they weren't what they used to be? Who's fault is that, not PACs, PACs the old man it's PAC who shouldn't be what he was? Sure, PACs not beating broner or mattheus in their primes, but PACs older so it's a great win. Melo beating beterbiev in 2 years time is a very good win if beterbiev not lost
As long as nelo gives young fighters opportunity to beat him when he's past prime also it's ok

Even beating 39 year old Beterbiev is greater than any fighters' achivements on the planet.

Beterbiev at his prime. Maybe not physically but as technical and experience level.
