I don't think Bivol would come out on top against the Monster.

As much as I like Bivol...Beterviev is just a bridge too far. And don't even bring up Canelo's name because he's hiding under the bed right now.

I also like Benavidez...but he can't do it either. The fact is, NOBODY can, and I don't know what's left for Beterbiev...Zurdo Ramirez? I don't think Zurdo lasts either...Beterbiev has too much of an all around package. I don't know why it took him so long to final get his due, really. He's a likeable and humble guy, and I'm happy for him.

He has the BEST chance to beat beterbiev, with his speed, defense and ring IQ, but tonight beterbiev didnt look slow and his defense was kept pretty tight. know that bivol dont have big power and beterbiev will keep coming even if he is getting outboxed, his ring iq is very high himself and any body attack he lands is going to hurt bivol.

remember that big welt bivol had in his arms from canelo, what do you think it would look like if bivol was hitting it.

smith had never been down pro or amateur and hes a massive hitter himself but got blown out there easily.

I would predict a beterbiev KO as of right now. the fight needs to happen, i hate these rematch clauses that hold up fights. beterbiev-bivol is one of my most wanted fights.

Bivol is not Browne or Smith jr. Bivol would be by far the best guy Beterbiev has ever fought.

I respect Arturs`s power, but Bivol beats him IMO. But it would be a tough fight.

Beats him with what though? Power? Aggression? Ring IQ?

Come on man, think logically here.

Bivol has a Russian style of boxing; basic 1-2, movement, circle and in and out. It's simple but ultra refined and it was enough to bamboozle Canelo.

Now, Beterbiev is 295-5 as an amateur and fought 90% opponents with the same style as Bivol - though they may not have been as perfect as Bivol.

Beterbiev has seen it all before. Bivol also is too small. Joe Smith dwarfed Bivol size wise in that ring whereas Beterbiev looked bigger than Smith.

Combine the natural size, power, EXPERIENCE and brute force and it only goes one way - Beterbiev by eventual KO

Beterbiev is the man at 175 for the next few years. Bivol is solid but Beterbiev will break him if the fight happens. And it should.

I think Bivol can do it but he’s really going to have to fight a perfect fight and get out of the second gear he beat Canelo on. This is a different animal and I’d love to see the clash of styles.

Beterbiev actually showed boxing skill in there. He gave all angles to Smith. He’s not a brawler after all. He impressed me. I think he hits too hard for Bivol to go 12 rounds with.

Joe knew he had to hurt Beterbiev early to have any success in this fight. And that was the right plan for him. Artur is obviously much better boxer and Joe would never in any universe outbox him.

But that doesn`t help us to imagine how would Beterbiev - Bivol go. Bivol is a well skilled operator, he won`t try to hurt Beterbiev early, because he is a decision maschine. Bivol will box patiently like he usually does.

This is what people don't realize. Beterbiev is a better boxer than bivol he just adapts to his opponent. He's seen many bivol styles in the amateurs.
