Any of us guys who followed RR in the amateurs knew he had the natural talent but a lot of us questioned whether he was capable of adapting his style to the pro game especially after his calamitous debut.

Ismael Salas deserves big credit IMO. He’s really moulded Ramirez into a quality pro. He’s more patient, he’s sitting down on his shots more, he looks physically more imposing. I believe this kid is ready for anyone at 126.

Yeah I expect Navarrete to be moving up to 130 so let’s get that WBO strap on Ramirez. Bob essentially has had featherweights queuing up for that vacant WBO belt for the last decade. Loma > Valdez > Stevenson > Navarrete and now Ramirez.
