Miguel cotto-Uppercuts

Is it me or Cotto seems to have problems blocking/dodging uppercuts???
I noticed that in the Margarito and Clottey fight he got hit by a lot uppercuts.
Does anyone know if he has work on that ???

yea, he does have a problem with uppercuts. its his earmuff guard, its really high up. protects the top of his head better and works well with his punching style, but theres that gap right under his chin for uppercuts.

Margarito definitely exploited that with his left uppercuts. I think Zab landed a nice one on Cotto too, and Mosley got in a few, although thats not his best punch.
