Marquez is better skilled than Floyd, sorry homie.

Marquez has good skills, but no not better than Floyd. Defensively, Marquez cops way more shots than floyd. Offensively he is pretty even, but I feel Floyd is a touch more accurate, and against guys who aren't much bigger than him he can really plant some amazing combos. Plus he is quicker and hits harder.

As for overall versatility, like I said, Floyd has never been beat, he's adapted to everyne while Marquez hasn't.

Marquez is the better, more experienced, more complete, all around FIGHTER. Floyd is exceptional (defensively) but IMO, Marquez is just as great and more diverse in his ability to FIGHT. JMM has demonstrated a more diverse repertoire of fighting styles and techniques. JMM has been in there with the P4P king and it can be argued that he won BOTH of those fights. When one says 'Floyd Mayweather' the first thing that comes to mind is defense. When that does not work for Floyd, what's he gonna do? Marquez will find a way. Marquez will win this fight!
