Mayweather is the best. PERIOD.

This is exactly the type of **** that defines most of Floyd's groupies, and why so many on this board have had it with their act. This ludacris insinuation that Mayweather is the greatest fighter ever to dawn the gloves or lace the boots ; Or even the best out there right now. Both couldn't be further from the truth.

While his skillset may be among the best ever his level of competition ever since his days at 135lbs has been anything but. You can't claim to be the best if you're not fighting the best in your own division.

Floyd retired when Cotto was the undefeated king of 147, Margarito was a walking tank with a reputation that wasn't in shambles, and Williams was stomping around 147 barking at everybody in range for a fight.

Now he comes back to fight who? The Lightweight kingpin, that's who. And at a catchweight of 144lbs that he himself doesn't even honor and renegotiates at the last minute.

I hate to break it to you but win, lose, or draw tomorrow night against Marquez, this fact remains unchanged ; the best fighter in the World right now is a Filipino by the name of Pacquiao.

And until "Money" checks his ridiculous ego and is willing to negotiate the terms to a fight between the two, it will always be that way.

Sorry dude , but im no groupie. And im actually a fan of cotto and pac , BUT IM JUST BEING REAL. The thing that i find ****** is that people hate floyd because he "talks trash" but dont want to acknowledge that he is one of the best skilled boxer that has ever lived. and mark my words , floyd would handle cotto and pac without any problems however , if floyd ever steps in the ring with Paul Williams , he would get destroyed.
