Comments Thread For: Joe Smith: I Put a Little Money on Bivol To Beat Canelo

Joe Smith Jr. always knew Dmitry Bivol had a good chance of upsetting Canelo Alvarez to the extent that he was willing to put some coin behind his opinion.

Casual fans that know little to no boxing weren’t giving Bivol a chance. People that actually know boxing knew Bivol was a live dog.

I thought and said that Bivol is much better than Plant and Saunders and is going to have a good chance of winning.

But I wasn't confident the judges would give it to him if he deserved the win, but they did, only just. Joe is probably going to be competitive against Beterbiev but I don't think he will win.

If Smith pulls it off, it'll be one of the great wins of the last few years no doubt.

I will be honest, never watched Bivol before. Hell I didn't even watch him versus Canelo, I was under the impression Canelo would murk him. After the Canelo loss I watched tape of Bivol and would've put a Lil money on Bivol too had I known.

Same here. And I actually have a small bet on Smith over AB. Joe is not the favourite but the odds are way too wide so..

Nah man, look on YT boxers giving their predictions for the fight and no one was giving Bivol a chance. Of course hardcore fans knew he was a live dog

Fluid goes to bankrupt. He put only $10.000 on Bivol lol.
