Win or Lose, Debts Will Force 'Money” to Fight On

by T.K. Stewart - The stakes have never been higher for Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

“Money” will make his return to a Las Vegas ring Saturday night for the first time in nearly two years. Staring back at him from the opposite corner will be Mexico's Juan Manuel Marquez – a formidable foe if ever there was one.

I don't think he came back just for one fight anyway...a few fights and the debt should be taken care of...

And if does owe them that much money why haven't they taken anything away from him?

If he gets a big enuf payday for the JMM fight, Mr boat buyer will retire again. That may be in danger now if he's got this IRS agreement. We'll see. If Pac wins over Cotto, maybe he will fight him at 50-50. Depends on how much he banks from tomorrow nite.

The question is, does he need enough that he fights Shane and Pacquiao/Cotto?

Did you bother to read the article? They are taking 5 million dollars away from him.

That's the last thing anyone would want to hear. I don't want Floyd to continue if his heart ain't in the sport.

Your right...I read it...forgot it had said that...

In that case he can't fight just once...unless he has some plan

Floyd can not just fight once and be set for life that is not how he does things. He needs to fight to finance his lifestyle he can make some money doing other things but fighting brings him the most by far and to make the money he likes he needs to fight the correct guys.

I personally don't feel bad for athletes or celebs who make ridiculous ammount of money and blow it all off and end up broke....I love watching his fights, but if he ends up a bum on the streets begging for money then so be it.....dude flaunts his money and throws it in our face, it's only poetic justice to see him have finacial problems.....kinda funny if you ask me
