Mayweather Promotions have given Tank a ton of exposure though. As low as his PPV numbers are, he is among the top 3 PPV sellers in America behind Canelo and Spence. He is as good a PPV attraction as Mayweather was in his 20s (DLH fight was at 30 years old).

He is being guided by the best businessman in boxing, the best self-promoter in boxing when he was active. Really the best self-promoter since Ali. No other fighter knows more about self-promotion than Mayweather.

True. That's why I don't get when people say he should go to other promoters to get fights. Why don't those guys come over to PBC, since they are all the B-side, or send official written offers in public? Let's see who is ducking whom.

I'd consider him disloyal if he left MP at this point.

                True

But Floyd also made his name fighting big names like De La Hoya, fights the public were interested in, that’s what made him a real star.

Mayweather promotions have already said they’re only interested in in-house fights for Tank, so it seems he’s never going to get that push to break through to the next level that Floyd did. people will lose interest if he never fights the fighters people want to see him fight.

Just because Floyd knew how to make himself into a star it doesn’t necessarily mean you can do the right things to make somebody else a star, and as it stands, he isn’t fully doing that. They seem hellbent on keeping him away from the best fighters and names rather than chasing them, which would take things to the next level.

Why should he chase boxers he's the A-side to? Why aren't they chasing him? Why is he always blamed for that? Make official public offers and let's see if he turns them down, unless, of course, the offer is beneath what he's already making.

Everyone Floyd was chasing was a bigger star than him (like Gatti, Oscar). It's on those guys who need to come to him, or wait until picked, not the other way around. Who should he chase anyway? Ryan? Haney? Screw that and Haney's trash belts.

Floyd just gaslights and manipulates Davis. How many guys does Mayweather have in his stable? How can he even be considered a promotor? Mayweather Promotions is the same thing as Al Haymon's PBC promotions. They don't have anyone for Tank to fight anymore. Rolly wasn't even rated. How long can Tank be fed bums? His PPV numbers are going down because people are sick of his fighting bums.

As good as a promotor as Mayweather is, he's taken Tank as far as he can go. Why did Shakur go with Top Rank? Why is Devin signed with Top Rank now? Why is Keyshawn and all the Olympians with Top Rank now? No one wanted to go to Mayweather. So if he's that good, then why is Tank his only fighter and he's not signing anyone?

I'll answer that for you. It's because Mayweather sucks. That's why.
