Hot take: Brook would been a harder fight for Floyd than Khan.

So many people, from boxers, to analysts, to boxing fans, have said that Khan would have been Floyd's hardest fight, but I disagree. I think Brook would have been a harder fight, due to his size, height and jab.

Brook has a great jab, which is Floyd's Kryptonite. De La Hoya and Cotto gave him trouble with their jabs.

Neither are difficult fights for Floyd. They don’t win 3 rounds between them.

Those 2 were domestic level boxers who had a little success on the world stage, that really is it.

Amir Khan at his peak, would of been a stylistically more difficult fight for Mayweather.

It is the speed, the ability to throw punch combinations without resetting himself 'Or there is very little reset'.

Also Khan has superior stamina to Brook, but that is not to say Brook's stamina was bad.

Brook's speed will not trouble Mayweather, and Brook would most likely try to mirror and box Mayweather.

Skill for skill, Brook would mirror Mayweather and be competitive but? Drop too many rounds in the process.

Brook was mirroring Crawford, they were both mirroring each other. This usually happens when two fighters are on a very similar skill level.

Many of Mayweather's opponents who were highly skilled, always ended up mirroring him. All this does if give Mayweather the opportunity to dictate the pace.

Amir Khan would not mirror Mayweather, and he would set a ballistic, unsteady and unpredictable pace etc.

Brook's stiff jab would trouble him for a couple of rounds but that's about it.

Brook is a txtbook fighter and Floyd has no issues with guys like that.

              Khan still wouldn't win.

Khan loses even worse if he tries to mirror Floyd. Khan isn't on the same planet as Floyd in skill.

Disagree. I think Khan's speed would trouble Floyd for a couple rounds. Styles make fights.

Brook is too 'straight up and down'

Always been a fan of Brook as a fighter but he was a man of many skills but a master of none. Just a good all rounder with nice fundamentals

Would have been a clinic by Floyd.. as for Khan well Mayweather after 4 rounds would have the time down perfectly and start hitting that wet weetabix chin with laser accuracy and stopped him
