If Ruiz was actually a decent boxer or even a bigger athletic guy, we could have the could have would have conversation.
AJ had zero business losing to Ruiz. It’s a shame that he got dropped, staggered and got stopped. We’ve seen better boxers overcome all sorts of dirty tactics through skills, resiliency and guts. AJ clearly has none of that.
How else does he get beat yet again by Usyk? And here’s the kicker, AJ will most likely beat Usyk and even KO him. AJ just doesn’t have the heart to win at all cost.

Usyk won the first fight fair and square. But I don't really see anything special with him at Heavyweight. The fight was relatively close and Usyk finished strongly. My feeling is, that was the best Usyk were going to see at heavyweight. He fought the perfect fight to beat AJ. Will that fight repeat itself? I think AJ is going to come back way stronger and more confident that he can beat Usyk. He's changed up his team a little and some new voices and techniques that I think will help him out. I believe AJ took Usyk a bit lightly the first time around. Usyk certainly wasn't looking good before that fight at heavyweight. In fact , he looked very average in my view. I think in the rematch AJ will use his size and power to his advantage. AJ cruises to an easy decision or late round TKO.

Making Way to much sense for the forum . To many facts in your post it might give posters headaches on here ,critical thinking is not common here .

Buster Douglas got a long count… it’s in the books now..

I watched “The Play” Cal vs Stanford our big game.. I was in the stands and it was amazing
I'm sure boxers try to protect what they can. If refs are going to allowed to dirty tactics, then why bother having them ?
They are not a 4th judge so their purpose is limited.

As for long the Buster long count, he CLEARLY could have gotten up at any point. And after he got he, he went back to beating Mike's ass.

It's a physiological/neurological thing that there's no fix for, he should have immediately been taught the Wladamir Klitschko style spoiling jab and grab, safety first style because when you react to shots like that you just cannot engage on open warfare.

They have tried to teach him to box and move but he's not slick enough for that, he's too clunky and doesn't have the required athleticism and reflexes for it.

So what are you left with, a guy between styles with poor punch resistance, lacking confidence, stamina issues etc.

Robert Garcia is taking a paycheque, Joshua has maybe a 20% chance in this rematch because of his athletic gifts its not impossible he lands a big shot, but its unlikely. Garcia knows AJ's frailties and SURELY he knows he can't make him fight an aggressive come forward take one to land one style, but he's gonna try, and AJ is gonna get countered and kod
He hasn't been truly KTFO yet so his chin is still rock solid in comparison.
Had he not rush in recklessly vs Andy, I have no doubt he would have won that fight.

Your ''if'' is borderline science fiction.
AJ DID overcome Andy's dirty tactics but the ref wanted to go home.
This is why Andy, an added 200 lbs notwithstanding, couldn't win a single rd.
Didn't even have a chance to land a dirty shot.

Upsets happen. That's why they are called upsets.
Andy beating AJ is among the biggest upsets in boxing history.
Usyk is a quality boxer who takes his conditioning seriously.
Now, should AJ win his rematch in brutal fashion, what will be the narrative then ?

I like both fighters but I'm picking Usyk (as I did the 1st fight) to win even easier this time around.

I agree with you about Usyk being the favorite to hear AJ, however, AJ can and will adjust.
I am not going to suddenly forget that he got beat by Ruiz and Usyk.
I’d like to see AJ get beat by Fury if he gets past Usyk.
